I've been a Nokona fan for more than 20 years, with 3 different gloves all still in the family, and all still in the game.
About a month ago I started playing regular first base on a senior men's softball team. Never needing a 1st base glove, I went Nakona shopping on-line. I found\ordered an X2-N70 Elite 13" 1st Base Glove. It was billed as game-ready, and they were pretty much right.
I received the glove via Big Brown on a Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday night I was able to get in about 30 minutes of "break-in" time bending, twisting, and adjusting. Then on Thursday morning I played catch for about 10 minutes, followed by a double header. That's as close to a game ready glove as I've seen. No hot water, no steam, no oil and no oven. The best part is the more it's used, the better it will get.
