Bought this glove for my son Aug '22, he was 10 at the time. To date he could not be happier. It did take a lot of time to break in. This glove is by no means game ready. It takes probably 6-8 weeks of regular use and conditioner to get it usable.
The grain of the leather on the palm is really tight. Pictures don't show the quality. Several of his friends use A2000 and they are nice glove leather but the Japanese calf skin is better in my opinion. The pocket also formed very well with the recommended break in.
For an top quality infielder glove that will last I would certainly recommend this model. Order early enough that you can break it in as recommended.
