This is a fantastic glove, the best I’ve ever owned (and I’ve been playing well over 50 years) – easily better than Wilson A2000 or Rawlings Pro-Preferred. I found those gloves to be roughly equivalent to Nokona’s X2, but the Bloodline Edge is far superior to all of them, not even worth comparing really. Costs more, but well worth it. The whole glove just oozes quality and performance. It’s light weight (but still good padding), and the overall feel, pocket, and ball control are all great.
I’m a serious men’s senior softball player and needed a versatile glove because I play men’s fast pitch (pitch, OF, 3b) and slow pitch (all positions), and this glove fit the bill. The pocket depth is somewhere between shallow (infield) and deep (outfield), but definitely closer to outfield depth, which is perfect for me since I most often play pitcher, 3b, or outfield but occasionally play middle infield positions too. For $85 extra, I had them put on a modified trap – better ball control, better visual for both fly balls and ground balls, the trap seems to send the ball to the pocket better on ground balls, and easier/faster retrieval (but everyone's got their own preferences on this). I was a little worried about the hand size because the Velcro strap is usually associated with women’s softball, but I have a size large men’s hand and it fits fine. I had a light factory break in and finished the process myself to get it gingerly game ready within a couple of days and fully broken in within a week or two. Depending on your position, you might want to go with a different glove size and web combination, but I’d still highly recommend going with something in Bloodline Edge series.
The folks at Nokona were great and answered all of my many (very many) questions before I bought this one (I bought, examined, and returned a few other models along the way before settling on this one). Tell Brandy that Steve sent you. They can explain the process if you want to have a different trap put on (easy, just costs a bit more). Delivered ahead of schedule too. I can’t say enough about this glove or about Nokona generally.

This glove is legit! I got it for my 16u daughter who plays centerfield and she absolutely loves it. Her last glove was a custom A2000 and this glove beats that glove hands down. Easier break-in process, lighter, more comfortable, and it looks incredible. If you're comparing this to any other glove, just spend the extra money and get it. You won't be sorry.
