Bought this for my 10 year old son to use as a middle infield glove (although he also uses it at first base). All the basics in the glove were top notch- really good leather, great stitching, etc. The pocket was a bit deeper than I expected but this is not an issue for younger youth players. The glove takes a fair amount of break in but this is noted on the web site and is indicative of the fact that the glove is a bit stiffer that most youth gloves (something we like). The glove can naturally crease to close pinky to thumb or mid finger to thumb. The main thing my son comments on is just how good the glove feels when he is using it. Finally, the glove simply looks really good. The glove is very pricey but based on quality and early use I believe the glove will last for the rest of his youth career until he outgrows it. My high rating is based on my observations and my sons opinion about glove quality and does not take into account the price. We looked at a lot of gloves before buying this one (he also uses a Nokona catcher's mitt) and this one was by far the best youth infield glove we looked at.

The Bloodline Edge is a great youth middle infield glove. I bought this for my son, he loved his S-100 which he had for about 4 seasons, and then his M web S-200 for the last 2 years. I wasn’t sure what to think about the Edge gloves, whether they were really different than standard models, and if they were different whether that was a good thing. Granted we’ve only had it a week and been working with it daily to properly break it in, but he’s really liking this glove. According to him, it does fit tighter especially in the wrist, but he likes that it is so easy to find the ball quickly in the glove, and faster transfers to the throwing hand. The palm leather and the liner of this glove are noticeably stiffer than the Alpha Select series, the pinky and thumb are also stiffer, so more break in but really a well made glove I expect to be durable.
I’m very happy with this glove so far. Having a few weeks between seasons we’re using the time for break in and general fielding practice. Performance and construction quality appears excellent, and it’s made in the USA.

I ordered this glove for my son, I’ve always been a A2000 kind of guy.
Ill be sure to follow up this review. I was assisted by Lacey, I thought she did an excellent job guiding me through my options. She went all the way to the back of the warehouse to see if they even had it in left hand throw, which they did. Thank you Nokona and Lacey, I look forward to him playing with this glove.
