When Nokona said they no longer had the pattern needed to repair my beloved and well used 40 year old glove I bought this glove to play catch with my grandson just starting out in Little League. At my age buying an expensive glove like this can be considered overkill, but I justified buying it knowing it had an heirloom quality and would pass it on to my grandson when it would fit his hand. This impressive glove took about an hour to condition the leather and bring it to 90% game ready. Smacking the ball in the pocket of this beauty made me feel like a kid again!

This is a beautiful glove and, in my opinion, the best-looking glove you can buy from Nokona. It is at a medium price point if you can’t quite afford a custom glove. The size is perfect for someone who plays all over the diamond and you can choose from different hinge points depending on how deep you want your pocket. It’d even be a good choice for softball IF. I took off one star because it’s prominently advertised as “game ready,” which it isn’t. It is the stiffest glove I’ve ever bought. The modified trap web makes it harder to break in due to the amount of laces and doubled-up leather pieces. Don’t expect to play with it right out of the box but it’s worth the wait.

The red in the pictures looks a little intense, but when you unbox the real thing, all concerns disappear. The laces compliment the rest of the glove amazingly. Not to steal Darren's line, but I wish I bought two so I could put one on the mantle. I have never had a glove break in this naturally in such a short amount of time. It is simply the best glove I've ever put on my hand. The fact it's so beautiful only augments the feeling. NOTE: I had it in hand 11 days from order date.

The glove is beautiful, however it is definitely far from game ready. When we received ours we couldn't close it. It is going to take some time to break in, but it is extremely great quality, he loves it, and it is obvious that it will last for many years.

I should have bought two. One to admire and one to play with. Great glove, I love it!

I bought this glove and the conditioner last week, for use in a 35+ league. At the age of 35, this was the first time I've ever owned a "premium" glove, and I can honestly say that there is a huge difference between this glove and the cheap stuff that the sporting goods stores sell. For me, it was important that my glove be made in the USA, and while I expected a great quality glove, I had no idea it was going to be this good. Nokona made an amazing glove. It's practically game ready when it comes out of the box, and a little bit of play makes it all the better. I love this glove, and love the "pop" when the ball hits the pocket. You will not regret this purchase.

An excellent glove. I can confirm it comes game-ready. I have a pro-preferred Rawlings glove and this, and I prefer it over the Rawlings.

I used this glove for baseball practice and I haven't massaged it yet with nokona glove conditioner for 8.99 and it worked like a dream it was game ready and light weight. I caught fly balls and grounders it still looks new with its flawless premium leather overall it good
