As the parent of a competitive 14U player, I’m always on the lookout for gear that can actually keep up with the demands of travel ball—and the S1-EP400 has more than delivered. The performance is outstanding: my son says it’s lightweight enough for quick transfers at shortstop but still feels solid and secure when fielding hard-hit balls. What really impressed me as a parent, though, is the durability. After months of heavy use—practices, games, tournaments—the glove still holds its shape, with no signs of breakdown in the leather or lacing. On top of that, knowing it’s made right here in the USA sealed the deal for us. You can tell it’s built with care and intention. It’s rare to find a glove that checks every box, but this one absolutely does.
