My favorite Opening Day memory actually just happened recently; it was the first game in the morning, and I knew I was going to mop the floor at this tournament. I got there, ran a pole, stretched, and “got my game face on.” I was hitting 3rd and I was starting pitcher. My first AB, I got up with ducks on a pond, first pitch was sent screaming over the left field fence! But the show was not over, I got on the bump, and struck out the side, and I won MVP of the tournament!

My “dream” opening day is to start 3rd base for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and play against my home town team, the Oklahoma State Cowboys at O’Brate Stadium in Stillwater. I want to hit a hanging curveball over the huge Jumbotron in Left Field, and trot around the bases. After that I want to go out with my Nokona, and make all three plays of that inning. That, is my dream.
